I am a lifelong resident of Western New York. I graduated from City Honors High School in Buffalo, Buffalo State College and the University at Buffalo School of Law. I began practicing law in 1989. I have limited my career to the representation of injured construction workers, victims of motor vehicle accidents and medical negligence. In the past 17 years, I have tried hundreds of cases and obtained many million dollar settlements and awards for my clients.
I am a Past Regional President of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association which is dedicated to promoting a safer and healthier society, assuring access to the civil justice system by those who are wrongfully injured and advancing representation of the public by ethical well trained lawyers. I am also a member of the regional and statewide Board of Directors. I am a past member of the Board of Editors of the statewide monthly report on personal injury law.
I am one of two local attorneys invited to join the national Academy of Catastrophic Injury Attorneys . The Academy has brought together the nation's leading personal injury litigators to help serve those individuals with serious injuries recover fair and just compensation through settlement or trial.
I am a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. I will be receiving a Fellowship from the National College of Advocacy this year. The Fellowship in Trial Advocacy is limited to those that have satisfactorily completed advanced training from the most prominent lawyers in America . I am a member of the national faculty that teaches trial technique to lawyers throughout the country. I have lectured on jury selection and personal injury law to students at the University at Buffalo School of Law.
I am a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which limits its membership to Trial Lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional skill, experience and excellence in Advocacy by achieving a trial verdict, award or settlement in the amount of One Million Dollars or more.
In 1998, I was one of two lawyers selected to work with Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr. in the representation of the Estate of Cynthia Wiggins.
I travel to Albany to lobby the New York State Assembly and Senate for the preservation of the rights of accident victims and consumers.
